Born March 6, 1902, in Vienna, Mo., he was the son of Edward and Melinda Reed Crider. He married Velvia L. Wagner in 1930. She died Aug. 12, 1976.
Mr. Crider farmed in Pike County near Fishhook. He had worked construction and for the highway department. He was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are a son, LeRoy and his wife, Kathy, of Loraine; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Carl; two daughters, Frieda Scott and Verna McGraw; four brothers, Therman, Alfred, Rainie and Burle; and three sisters, Edna Crider, Mary Faulkner and Van Breezley.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hunter Funeral Home in Golden by Pastor Dale Griggs. Burial will be in Hersman Cemetery near Mount Sterling.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
Memorials may be made to Timberpoint Health Care Center.
