Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, 12 Feb, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Felts officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born 12 Mar 1911, in Jackson, Miss., a daughter of Matt and Callie Rogers Wadford.
She married J.P. (Bud) Hughes on 14 May 1926, in Paris. He died 3 Aug 1968.
She later married Jack Adams, who preceded her in death in 1975.
She was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, James (Buddy) Hughes of Roff, Okla. and Jerry Wayne Hughes of Powderly, two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Edna) Parks of Rt. 6, Paris, and Mrs. James (Erma) Nations of Blossom; 14 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Dale Hughes, in 1977.
