Emanuel Scott, 434 Vetter's lane, died today at St. Mary's Hospital after an illness of 11 days.
Born Aug. 29, 1887, at Brazito, he married Miss Elta Jane Hader at Scrivner in 1907. He had been a shoe worked for 40 years.
He is survived by five sons, Virgil, Herbert and Ralph, all of Jefferson City; Revice, Sandy, Utah; and Marvin of Milwaukee, Wis.; four daughters, Mrs. Cecil Wright and Mrs. Robert Richter of Jefferson City; Mrs. Ralph Powell, St. Louis and Miss Martha Mae Scott, of the home.
He also leaves one brother, Lon Scott of Jefferson City and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Diercks, Jefferson City; Mrs. Sally Steenberger, St. Louis, and Mrs. Mary Houser, Kansas City.
Scott was a member of the Church of God.
