Our beloved Jimmy Osborne passed away peacefully January 5, 2015 at the age of 65. Jimmy was born December 28, 1949 to Robert & Sophie Osborne. He grew up in Midvale, Utah surrounded by family. As a child he enjoyed playing baseball and skiing. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1968 and joined the Navy shortly after. Jimmy served his country in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He met and married the love of his life Susan Alice Hatch and they had their only daughter Jaymie. He provided for his family as a Blacksmith at Kennecott Copper and then as an Inspector at Hill Air Force Base. He and his family enjoyed spending time at their cabin at Bear Lake, boating, golfing and camping. Jimmy was an avid 49ers fan. Later in life his greatest joy was his granddaughter Rajeigh. He is survived by his daughter Jaymie Osborne; granddaughter Rajeigh Keller and sister Kathy Smith (Dewayne). He is proceeded in death by his parents, wife and other extended family members.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at 2pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) in Sandy with a viewing Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 from 7-9pm and again on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 12:30 to 1:30pm prior to services.
