Helen Louise Clarke, age 78, a Coalgate resident, passed away on January 6, 2015 at Coalgate, Oklahoma, aged 78 years, 1 month and 2 days. She was born on December 4, 1936 to John Pryor and Lilli Mae Smith Cornett at Neodesha, Kansas.
She attended North Brown Elementary and Neodesha High School in Neodesha, Kansas. Helen was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, John Clarke and wife Dorothy of Eden, North Carolina, James Clarke of Big Lake, Alaska and Kathy Wright and husband Scott of Coalgate, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Tamra Stanish of Austin, Texas, Brian Clarke and wife Maddie of College Station, Texas and Stephanie Orvis of San Antonio, Texas, great grandchildren, Hailey Decker and Alyssa Orvis, both of Coalgate, Oklahoma and Maddox Clarke of College Station, Texas and sister, Sue Gott of Coalgate, Oklahoma along with many nieces, nephews and many loved friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, John Pryor and Lilli Mae Smith Cornett and her brother, John P. Cornett.
Funeral services 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at Brown's Funeral Chapel, Coalgate, Oklahoma with Pastor David Unsell officiating. Interment to follow at Coalgate Cemetery, Coalgate, Oklahoma.
