Harry Frankel Bailey, 86, of South Charleston, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church, South Charleston, and was retired from Union Carbide with 33 years of service. Harry and his late wife, Billie, enjoyed traveling the world extensively, having visited many, many countries. Harry had served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean conflict. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Billie; parents, Morris and Mary Bailey; and seven brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his sons, Steve Bailey of Charlotte, N.C., and Scott Bailey of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Shelli Dills of South Charleston; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Mortuary, South Charleston, with the Rev. Claudia Fizer officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until service time.
