The funeral of Mrs. Caroline V. Johnson, 55 years old, wife of Theodore W. Johnson, 424 Patapsco avenue, Brooklyn, who was found dead in bed early Sunday morning, took place Tuesday afternoon from the Emanuel United Evangelical Church. The services were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J. H. Furner, assisted by the Rev. James W. Gray, a retired preacher of the Maryland Conference of the Methodist Protestant Church. The pallbearers were: Frank Lewis, Harry Long, H. Emory Gray, Edward Vance, James F. Haskins and Lee Johnson. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Caroline V. Johnson, 55 years old, wife of Theodore W. Johnson, 424 Patapsco avenue, was found dead in bed early yesterday morning by her husband, having succumbed to an attack of heart disease. When she retired Saturday evening she was in the best of spirits and apparently not ill. Her husband awoke in the morning and discovered his wife dead beside him. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter (Mrs. Augustus Chaney). two sons (Herbert and George Johnson), two brothers (George H. and John E. Potee) and one sister (Mrs. Charles McDonald of Curtis Bay). The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from Immanuel United Evangelical Church, Fifth street and Annapolis avenue. Rev. J. H. Furner, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Magistrate John E. Potee, of the Brooklyn Police Station, a brother of the dead woman, and Dr. Charles H. Brooks viewed the body and gave a certificate of death from heart disease.
