Doris D. Dochterman, 78 of 1231 North 26th died at 1:49 a.m. Tuesday (July 20, 2004) in Blessing Hospital.

She was born December 2, 1925, in Adams County, a daughter of Chester Raymond and Dolly May Barnett Clapper. On August 24, 1946, she married R. Lee "Doc" Dochterman in Springfield. He died May 26, 1999.

Mrs. Dochterman was of the Christian faith. She had worked at the International Shoe Company and Motorola. She was a member of the Ladies of Triple Oaks Auxiliary. Family and crafts were her hobbies.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Williamson and her husband Gary, of Quincy and Rhonda Marsh and her husband Bill of Quincy; a son Jeffrey Dochterman and his wife Leisa of Quincy; five grandchildren, Amy Williamson of Quincy; Jason Williamson of Lawrence, Kansas; Brandi Zorn and her husband Jason, of Greenwood, Missouri; Erica Marsh of Quincy and Joshua Dochterman and his wife, Susan, stationed with the U. S. Navy in Italy; two step grandchildren Kary Groom and her husband Donald, of Canton, Ohio; and Derek Flynn of St. Louis; two great grandchildren, Mackenzie Williamson of Quincy and Gavin Zorn of Greenwood; and three step great grandchildren, Justin, Daniel and Keria Groom all of Canton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Curtis and Elvin Clapper.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home by the Rev. Henry Pratt. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
