Funeral services for Roy A. Copeland will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Minden Presbyterian Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Phil McLarty and Rev. Tony Angell officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with military rites.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Roy was born June 28, 1948 in Decater, Indiana and entered into rest January 6, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a member of Minden Presbyterian Church, past member of Minden Jaycees, Minden Lions Club, and a lifetime member of VFW.

His mother Mary Provaznik, father Joe Copeland, in-laws Shorty and Pat Long, brother Leroy Copeland preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Long Copeland of Minden, son Tige A. Copeland and wife Arleen of Fort Wayne, Indiana, grandsons Gage, Zack, and Dane Copeland of Fort Wayne, Indiana, sisters Margie Gray and husband Tom of Hunington, Indiana, Julie Boheimer of Roanoke, Indiana, and brother Joe Copeland and wife Carol of Valpraiso, Indiana.
