Elva E. Andres Fowler, 89, of Independence, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Graveside funeral services for Elva Elizabeth Andres Fowler will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Fawn Creek Cemetery north of Tyro, KS, with Rev. Charles Rice officiating. Friends may call at Webb Family Funeral Service on Wednesday from 9 AM-8 PM with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Elva E. Andres Fowler was born October 29, 1925, in rural Independence, to Walter C. and Iva L. (Stephens) Caldwell. She grew up in Independence and attended local schools.
On February 22, 1941, in Independence, she married Roy A. Andres. Mr. Andres preceded her in death in 1985. In July, 1993, she married Paul R. Fowler and he also preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker, member of the Church of the Brethern, VFW and American Legion Auxillary, Montgomery County Genealogy Society and volunteered at Independence Public Library in the genealogy department. She enjoyed crafts, quilting and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brothers, Carl and Charles Caldwell and her sisterd, Emma Bockover and Edna Bennett.
