Elva E. Andres Fowler was born October 29, 1925, in rural Independence, to Walter C. and Iva L. (Stephens) Caldwell. She grew up in Independence and attended local schools.
On February 22, 1941, in Independence, she married Roy A. Andres. Mr. Andres preceded her in death in 1985. In July, 1993, she married Paul R. Fowler and he also preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker, member of the Church of the Brethern, VFW and American Legion Auxillary, Montgomery County Genealogy Society and volunteered at Independence Public Library in the genealogy department. She enjoyed crafts, quilting and sewing.
Survivors include:
Her children; Gary (Judy) Andres, Coffeyville. Jack (Nadine) Andres, Independence. Bill (Jeanie) Andres, Independence. Kay (Ron) Hensley, Coffeyville . Dennis (Veronica) Andres, Coffeyville. Danny (Carla) Andres, Independence. David (Stacy) Andres, Independence.
