Betty J. Questel, 80, passed away Wednesday (Oct. 12, 2011) at Jones Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family.

Betty was born on May 8, 1931 in Andover to Leonard and Maude (Slocum) Reisman.

She worked most of her career in the Buffalo area as a home health aide.

Betty is survived by a son, Joe (Deb) Questel of Old Hickory, Tenn.; four sisters, Pat Hulse of Singers Glen, Va., Mary (Don) Waters of Whitesville, Florence (Dick) Dodson of Scio and Dot Branson of Summerville, S.C.; a granddaughter, Meredith Questel of Nashville, Tenn.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by five brothers, James Reisman, Ferdinand Reisman, Leo Reisman, Richard Reisman and Paul Reisman and two sisters, Arline Feller and Margaret Prohoda.

Betty was especially fond of spending time and talking with her many elderly friends and acquaintances.

Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. at the Genesis Bible Church in Scio. The memorial service will also be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Marc Chamberlain, officiating.

Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Andover.

Arrangements are under the direction of Baker-Swan Funeral Home, 3256 Riverside Drive in Wellsville.
