By the 1940 Fed census, Bertha is found living in the household of her widowed mother, Susie Daniel Taylor. Her nephew, Vernon, age 16 (s/o George and Alice Taylor Williams - Alice died in 1937 and George is a patient at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville in 1940) is also living in the home.
I believe the Edd Blaylock buried at Parks in Nola is Bertha's husband but since there's no dates for him, it is a guess .... Mary Fowler Leek
