Magna Mjønes passed away at home in the comfort of family on December 26, 2014. Born July 3, 1943, in Hemne, Norway to George Mjønes and Gjertrud Olsen Mjønes.
Predeceased by her husband of 40 years Andrew J. Martinis, MD, and by her father. Survived by her mother, brothers Jan (Mary) and Stig (Birte), stepchildren Dale and Berrie (Cliff), grandchildren Della, Dillon and Daniel, and many nieces and nephews in Norway.
Practiced for many years as a surgical nurse at Swedish Hospital in Seattle (downtown and Ballard). Painted beautifully.
