J. Marion Buskirk, 83, of Delphi,
died at 7:15 a.m. Jan. 17, 1993, at
SL Elizabeth Healthcare Center
where he had been a resident since
Jan. 4. He had been in declining
health for two years.
Born Sept. 24, 1909, in Tippecanoe
County, he was the son of
Charles W. and Blanche Murphy
Buskirk. He had lived in Delphi for
46 years.
His marriage was on Oct. 5,
1946, in Delphi, to Florence
Loveland, who survives.
He worked at the former Brown
Rubber Company for over 30
years. He also worked for the Delphi
Street Department for two
years, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of the Delphi
United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by two
sisters.
Services are today at 2:30 p.m. at
Horn Funeral Home with Rev.
Donald Ashley officiating. Burial
will be in Masonic Cemetery.
