Alta Beatrice Boston was born on June 17, 1923, the daughter of John Harrison and Rosa Collett. She passed away on January 4, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Leroy Boston and by her daughter, Connie Lynn. She was survived by a son, Charles Boston and wife Cheryl; four granddaughters, Rachel, Sarah, Charity and Hannah; one grandson, Adam; and two great-grandsons, Ethan and Evan. She had six brothers and two sisters and was survived by her sister, Edna McMahon. Alta graduated from Ladd Grade School in 1939 and graduated from Washington High School in 1943. She then worked at Montgomery Wards in downtown on main street in Oklahoma City before beginning to attend Bethany Nazarene College. There she met Leroy Boston (from Iowa) who was also attending Bethany Nazarene. They were married in Iowa, where she made her home until the passing of her beloved husband in 1997. Her funeral Service was held on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, Oklahoma.
