A.E. “Bill” Floth, 84, of Fort Collins, died Friday, Dec. 15, 1995, at a Fort Collins nursing home.
A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 1996, at the Plymouth Congregational Church, 916 W. Prospect Road. Rev. Fred Edmonds will officiate.
A visitation will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. Jan. 4, 1996, at the Warren-Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Loveland Burial Park. Warren-Bohlender Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Floth was born June 4, 1911, in Fort Collins to Conrad Floth and Anna M. Lenhart Floth, both deceased.
He married Mollie “Babe” Bath on Feb. 1, 1936, in Loveland. Mrs. Floth preceded him in death on Aug. 8, 1989.
Mr. Floth lived in Loveland, Greeley, Laramie, Wyo., Cheyenne, Wyo.., and Fort Collins.
He worked as a locomotive engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad from 1942 until 1974.
Mr. Floth was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Floth of Westminster, Calif., and James Floth of Cheyenne, Wyo.; one half-sister, Mrs. Carl Johnson of Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Floth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one son, Richard Floth, in Aug. 1994.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth Congregational Church Memorial Fund or charity of choice in care of Warren-Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
