(USAF, Ret.)

After battling for years with complications from health issues, Tony Koncak passed away peacefully on Dec. 6, 2014 at the age of 76.

Born in Dallas, TX, in 1938 to Anton and Rose Koncak, Tony was the oldest of three children. He joined the Air Force after proudly graduating from Texas A&M and became a meteorologist. He soon wed Margaret, his wife of 51 years. There after Tony became an F-4 fighter pilot, flying over 100 combat missions in Vietnam where he earned two Distinguished Flying Crosses among other medals and honors.
