Glenn was born in Masontown, WV on May 2, 1924, the son of the late Charles Cyphert and the late Anna Maude (Sloan) Cyphert.
He was in World War II having served in the Army Air Corp in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. He was a founder and partner of Charter Engineering Company in Westover.
He is survived by his wife Leonore V. Travinski Cyphert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Bucklew and brothers, Charles C. Cyphert and James F. Cyphert.
Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover where Full Military Honors will be accorded at the gravesite by members of VFW Post 548 and WVANG Military Funeral Honors Group, Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV.
