George Chester Kennedy of Elgin died tuesday evening, June 13 1985, at his home in Elgin. He was 95. He was born nov. 1, 1889 in Missouri the son of John and Ora Belle (Weir) Kennedy.
He farmed most of his life on Cricket Flat.
Survivors include 2 Daughters, Grayce Andrews and Beaulah Costanzo of Portland, Sisters Lola Culver of Lagrande and Edna Dalglish of Milton Freewater, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He eas preceded in death by his wife Georgia in 1962.
Funeral sevices were conducted saturday, june 15, at the Elgin Assembly of God Church with Rev. Les Greaser officiating. Concluding sevices and internment at Elgin Cemetery.
