Truman B. Garrison, 85, of 863-17th SE, died Monday, 1 Jan 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, 3 Jan, at 3 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jay McCollum officiating. Internment was at Providence Cemetery under the direction of Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Garrison was born 19 Oct 1904, in Bailey, the son of Walter and Sue Garrison.
He was employed as a transport driver for the Biard Oil Co. until his retirement. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He married Margaret Faye Adams in 1929 in Paris. She preceded him in death in April 1964. His grandson, Ricky Edward Julian, also preceded him in 1964.
He is survived by one daughter, Bettye Julian White of Paris; one brother, Travis Garrison of Dallas; one sister, Ruth Landers of Naples, Fla.; one granddaughter, Susan Irwin of Nevada; one great granddaughter, Christie Irwin, also of Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.
