Esther Mary Gomez, 83, of Greeley, CO passed away October 24, 2014.

She was born March 2, 1931 in Tercio, CO to Isabel and Delores (Renner) Griego. She married Larry Gomez on Dec 9th 1946.

First and foremost the love of her life were her children, then came her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her Catholic faith. Esther enjoyed playing bingo and playing slot machines. She loved to dance, especially to Spanish music. Esther enjoyed playing cards with her family and cooking big meals for her family. She really enjoyed and looked forward to road trips to Las Vegas, New Mexico and Cripple Creek. Basically, she loved any event related to her family. Esther was excellent at crocheting and many of us have treasured examples of her work. My mother was a devoted home-maker and wonderful mother. She also worked 13 years at North Colorado Medical Center as a Nurse's Aid. Esther was the heart, soul and matriarch of the family.
