Donna was preceded in death by: her parents; sister - Wanda Jean Mauk; half-brothers – John Briggs and Marvin Briggs; and half-sisters – Ivalee Bush, Juanita Wince, and Mary Ellen Sykes.
Survivors include: husband - LeRoy Meier of the home; sons – Monty (Jennifer)
Briggs of Salina, KS, Roger (Mary Ann) Meier, and Shannon (Joni) Meier; daughters – Lori (Stanley) St. John, and Angela (Brian) Murray, all of Mankato, KS; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister – Shirley (Chuck) Williamson, Beloit, KS; brother – John Everett (Phyllis) Briggs, Mankato; half-sister Lenora Jaske, Blackwell, OK; half-brothers – George (Jessie) Briggs of California, and Robert (Mary) Neeper of Arizona.
Visitation for Donna Marie Briggs will be Monday 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 9:00 – 9:00 p.m.; family will be present between 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be (were) Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Mankato Lutheran Church, Mankato, KS at 10:30 a.m. Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato. Memorials may be made to Jewell County EMS. Melby Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
