Published in The Paducah Sun, Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky., 23 Nov 2000 - THEBES, Ill.--Services for Vivian G. Bland Caldwell, 64, of Thebes will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. Wes Wright will officiate, and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Caldwell died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was employed by Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance in Cape Girardeau; by Caldwell Signs in Thebes; and as secretary at Mount Auburn Christian Church, where she was a member. She also served as secretary of the Cape Girardeau Jaycees.

She was a past matron of Caledonia Chapter 587 Eastern Star of Pulaski; past secretary of the Thebes Historical Society and Thebes Woman's Club; and member of the Pulaski-Alexander Home Extension Unit.

Surviving are her husband, William I. Caldwell; one son, Zac Caldwell; one daughter, Tara Cooper; and two grandchildren.

Her parents were John Verlin and Olga Pauline Farris Bland.
