Died Thursday, Oct. 6, 1994, at 4:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 88, a native of Jarreau and a resident of Ventress. He was a farmer and carpenter. Visiting was held at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads, 6 to 10 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lakeland, at noon Saturday, celebrated by father Matt Lorrain. Entombment in Chenal Mausoleum. Survived by a brother, Winnick Bueche, Ventress; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Rena Bueche; parents, Marcellus and Henrietta Major Bueche; three brothers, and three sisters. He was a member of Livonia Masonic Lodge No. 220, New Roads. Pallbearers will be Sidney Bueche, William LeBeau, Russell Robillard, David Parker, Craig and Jeffery Major.
