Born in Canada he had resided in Bridge City since 1963.
He was a lab technician for DuPont Sabine River Works and was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during Korea. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 2775. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1680 and had served as commissioner with Orange County Veterans Land Commission.
Preceded in death by his son, Bobby Bisson, he was survived by his wife, Shirley Bisson; son, Steven Bisson; daughters, Renee' Collier and Debra LeBlanc; brother, Donald Bisson; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Henry Catholic Church with Reverend Jim McClintock officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
