Lyons - Mr. William F. "Bill" Corley, 77, died early Wednesday morning in St. Josephs- Candler Hospital of Savannah after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, he was retired from the Georgia Forestry Commission and was a member of Elza Baptist Church. Survivors: his wife, Cleta Beth Hackle Corley of Lyons; daughter, Sharon Hicks of Collins; son, Dwayne Corley of Brunswick; granddaughters, Tori H. Sikes and Amanda Hicks, both of Collins; brothers, Bobby Corley of Fayetteville, TN and Carlye Corley of Savannah; sisters, Mary Duncan of Griffin and Shay Corley of Augusta; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p. m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 3:00 p. m. Friday from the Elza Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Linton and Rev. Joe Phillips officiating.
