Allison, Jake, Braden and I said goodbye to Brad – the love of my life, my best friend, the father of my children, my husband – at 10:30 pm on Thursday April 15th. This painful parting took place only 26 hours after he was struck by a totally unforeseen and untreatable aneurysm in his brain. In this unbelievably short period of time the heavens were lit with thousands of prayers from around the world -- from family, friends, friends of friends and prayer groups. People whose lives Brad had touched --in Michigan, London, Illinois, Florida, New Jersey, Canada, New Orleans, Texas, Arizona, California, Ohio, Brasil, Mexico, Belgium, Australia, Germany, China, Indiana, and countless other cities, states and countries -- all cried out to God to Save this man we knew who was so incredibly special in our lives. God, a power far greater than us and infinitely wise had decided that it was time for Brad to find his place in heaven. We do not understand, but we have faith that some day we it will be revealed to us why Brad was only with us here on earth for 49 years. In the meantime, we will hold his memories in our hearts and he will live through the family, friends and strangers whose lives were changed by his presence. Family and friends who knew him well, and strangers who will never know his name – from those he encountered and helped in countless ways everyday of his life… to the strangers who will be receiving the vital, healthy organs that Brad no longer needs, so they can live. Thank you for your thoughts and please keep us in your prayers while we start our new journey – Brad’s in heaven and ours here on earth.

God Bless, Denise Beachy
