Passing of Mrs. Lawler Occurs Monday Morning.-Resident of Community for 55 Years.
...The entire Ogden community was grieved to learn on Monday of the passing of Mrs. B.F. Lawler, a well known resident of the community, which occurred about 6 o'clock. The deceased had been ill for only a week. At the time of her passing she was 71 years, 9 months, and 20 days of age, having been born in Wisconsin in 1856.
...Left to mourn her passing are three sons, A.J., Frank, and Philip Lawler, all of Ogden; and one daughter, Mrs. Hager of Perry, two sisters, Mrs. James McElroy of Denver, Colorado; and Miss Alice Coyle of Los Angeles, Calif. The husband of Mrs. Lawler passed away a number of years ago.
...Mrs. Lawler lived in the community of Ogden for the past fifty-five years, having lived in the country, near Ogden, from the age of 16 years until about 10 years ago when she moved to town, where she has since made her home, residing alone. (Though her sister-in-law, Mary Lawler, lived with her for a few years before she died in 1923.)
...The funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning, November 24th, from the St. John's Catholic church in Ogden. Interment will be at the Catholic Cemetery in Grand Junction, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband and three young sons.
