Charles L. Nagel, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Harvey, IL, Charles was a self employed truck driver for over 23 years, He was a Korean War veteran and a member of , American Legion 499. Charles enjoyed wood working, traveling, fishing and his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. Surviving are his sons, Michael C. (Pepsy) Nagel, of Ft. Wayne, Wayne P. Nagel of Columbia City, IN; sister, Naida Uchitjil of Odin, IL; grandchildren John Nagel Abigial Nagel, Brock Nagel, cousin, Camille Quinn all of Ft. Wayne, IN. Charles was preceded in death by his loving,wife, Julia Nagel, parents John and Ora Nagel, sister, Helen Abbott. Service is 10:30 am, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at- D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue calling one hour prior. Calling also Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
