At Rest.

At the home of her mother, near Twin Falls, Mrs. Amanda Harford, wife of James Harford, died of hereditary consumption, Sunday, August 20th, 1893 at 1 a.m.

Mrs. Harford, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Cornett, was born May 11th, 1868. Her gentle manners and quiet ways made for her friends of all she knew, and her true Christian life was a worthy example for those she left behind. The greater portion of her life was passed in the neighborhood in which she last resided and the entire community assembled to pay honor to their departed friend. As the sun quietly sinks to rest behind a clear sky only to rise again, so did she, an affectionate wife and loving mother, falling into that dreamless sleep which kisses down her eyelids still, past into silent and pathetic dust. The funeral services occurred at the residence and were conducted by Rev. W.O. Johnson. Besides many friends and other relatives she leaves a loving companinon and a child of tender years. She quietly sleeps in the Twin Groves cemetery.
A Friend.

But hush, my sorrowing heart
We would not let her know
It would ??? her joys I fear
Because we loved her so.
