Coshocton Tribune - Feb. 15, 1937 Prominent Farmer and Township Trustee Dies Daniel S. Bilderback, 73, prominent farmer and township official, who resided on a farm west of Millersburg, died at 7 o’clock Sunday morning at the Kinney and Smith hospital, Wooster, after a four weeks’ illness of blood poisoning. He had been a farmer all his life and was serving his third term as trustee of Hardy township. He was a member of the Monroe Lutheran church. He was born in Holmes county Aug. 17, 1863, the son of Thomas and Barbara Durler Bilderback, and was married to Niva Christopher in 1885. To this union three children were born, one of whom, Mrs. Ora Pyers, died in 1915. Surviving are the wife, son, Frank, of Millersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Doty of Holmesville, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 at the Elliott funeral home, with Rev. Ralph W. Loew, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, in charge. Burial will be in the Millersburg cemetery.
