Henry McNeese, 77 Last Rites Held February 28
Funeral services for Henry Glen McNeese, 77, of Bedford, were held February 28at Shum-Novinger Funeral Home in Bedford conducted by Rev. Larry Secor. Mr. McNeese died February 25, 1976 in St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Mo. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Bedford.
Henry McNeese, son of the late John and Jane McNeese, was born at Plattsburg, Missouri on May 18, 1899.
He had lived most of his life around Bedford. He attended school and church in Bedford.
In June 1920 he was united in marriage to Della Rusco and they lived all their married life in and around Bedford. In 1970 they observed their 50th wedding anniversary.
To this union were born four sons and three daughters: Geraldine Sulenski, Williamsburg, Virginia; Roy McNeese, deceased; Leonard McNeese, Albuquerque, New Mexico; John McNeese, Bedford; Goldie Wray, deceased; Bessie Smith, Pickering, Mo.; Walter McNeese, deceased.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Rusco McNeese, in 1973, and his parents and four brothers and sisters.
He is survived by two sons; two daughters; 25 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Sleep, Opal Hinton, Lily Malby.
Henry had worked for Cudahy Packing Co., Farmers Co-op, and was self-employed for 25 years around Bedford.
