Albertina Virginia Rotchford, 92, of 2400 W. Moss died Monday, May 24, 1999, at OSF Saint Clare.
Born Jan. 28, 1907, in Peoria to Paul and Dena Doering Mehlenbeck, she married Irvin Louis McMurray on July 17, 1928, in Peoria. He died Dec. 6, 1931. She later married James Robert Rotchford on July 30, 1949, in Peoria. He died Nov. 15, 1971. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are one son, I. Louis McMurray of Peoria; and one brother, Robert Mehlenbeck of Schererville, Ind.
She worked as a supervisor in the cafeteria for Caterpillar Inc.
Prior to that, she opened and managed the First Hospitality Tea Room at Methodist Medical Center.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
