Memorial services for Suzanne Jones will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Reverend Brian Ponder will officiate, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Jones, 75, of Meridian, passed away December 30, 2014, at Specialty Hospital.

Suzanne was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and came to Mississippi in 1958 to attend Ole Miss. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of AOPi sorority. She remained an avid Ole Miss fan for the rest of her life. Suzanne retired from social work with the state after 35 years. She had a deep love of Girls Scouts and served two terms as district president of the Meridale Girl Scout Council. She was a charter member of Ladies Club of Mississippi Alpha Phi Delta Kappa, where she served two terms as president and was a past PDK Sweetheart. She was also a member of VFW Post 79 Auxiliary, as well as Women of the Moose. She was a wonderful mother to her three children, who were always made to feel safe, secure, and confident in her love.

Survivors include her daughter, Paige Keeter (Kelly) Watson and; her son, Todd (Lisa) Jones; daughter-in-law, Tami Gray Keeter; grandsons, Klein Watson and Gray Keeter; and granddaughter, Meagen Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Jones; son, Scott Keeter; and her parents, Clarence and Jennette Parent.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to service.
