Actress. Dorothy Dunbar Lawson was a American actress who appeared in silent movies in the 1920s. She appeared on the Broadway stage as a child in "The School Girl" (1904). In 1924, Dunbar went to Hollywood, where she starred in several motion pictures, including her role as the heroine in "The Amateur Gentleman" opposite Richard Barthelmess. She was also the fourth actress who played Jane, starring in the 1927 version of the Tarzan story, "Tarzan and the Golden Lion", opposite James Pierce. In 1927, ended her film career after her second marriage interpreting "What Price Love". The actress's seven husbands include Thomas Bucklin Wells II, heavyweight boxing champion Max Baer, diplomat Jaime S. De Gerson y Baretto, and aviation pioneer Russell Lawson .
