"Virginia Maria "Dolly" Vasquez, doting daughter, caring sister, loving aunt, and loyal friend, was born into life on April 22, 1964, and was born into eternity on December 22, 2014. Dolly, a very much loved and important heartbeat of our family, was taken from us unexpectedly, leaving a deep and everlasting sadness in our hearts. Virginia graduated from Douglas High School and remained close to her classmates. She included anyone in the warmth of her alumni spirit, regardless of age. She filled her world with love and laughter. She has worked as an office manager, accounting specialist, and floral designer leaving an unforgettable impression as she was loving to everyone she came across unconditionally and with a joyful sense of humor. She was known to her family as Auntie Peanut showering the little ones with love and presents. She was the link to two generations of cousins and tried her hardest to keep everyone connected. Dolly was fiery and warm, passionate and funny, mothering and supportive. She was a good and kind soul that cherished and loved those around her. Despite her own sufferings, she would be there if you needed to talk and give you a great big hug if you needed comfort. Dolly always treated you like one of her own. Every time you saw her, you expected a giant hug and got one within seconds. She will always be remembered and cherished by so many. There are people in this world that remain good and kind-hearted no matter what they face in life. Virginia was one of these good and kind souls. Dolly will be greeted with open arms into heaven by her parents, Reyes and Emilia Vasquez, her sisters, Herlinda Abril and Norma Torres, her brothers Quack Tellez, Hector Torres, and Conrad Siddons, and her beloved niece and goddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Abril. She is survived by her mother Virginia Tellez Vasquez, her sisters Mary Siddons and Rose (Art) Estrada, her brothers Reyes (Sylvia) Vasquez, Silverio (Rebecca) Vasquez, and Mike (Carrie) Vasquez, and by her very dear friend Jude Calderon. Many cousins and extended family will keep her memory alive with the love, laughter, and delicious recipes she has shared with us all. Dolly, may your light continue to shine bright in all that you touched and an inspiration to all that humbly follow in your footsteps. Holy Rosary was recited by Deacon Armando Moulinet and Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated by Father Gilbert Malu on December 27, 2014, at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Pallbearers serving were Jude Calderon, Jesus Tellez, Omar Estrada, Rey Vasquez, Anthony Torres and Conrad Siddons. Honorary Pallbearers were Gary Siddons, Angel Smith, Mikey Vasquez, Richard Estrada, Ruben Estrada, Artie Estrada, Johnny Sproule, Marco Abril, Andres Juarez, Mark Martin, David Hand and Eddie Garcia."
