BULLETIN

Mrs. Mark (Rose M.) Leeper, Evansville, Ind., formerly of Sayre, died Wednesday following and extended illness. Memorial services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Queen of All Saints Catholic Church of Sayre. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, one sister, Mrs. Redempta Carriker of McMinnville, Ore.

Wake services held
for Rose Muffett
(sic) Leeper

Wake services for Rose M Leeper of Evansville, Ind. were held Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Rose Chapel with memorial services in the Queen of All Saints Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday. Officiating was Father Kevin Devlin.

Interment was in the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services.

Born May 5, 1900 in Kansas City., Mrs. Leeper moved with her parents to northwest of Sayre in 1904 and to Sayre in 1913*(sic) where she graduated from high school. She married Mark Allen Leeper Nov. 26 1919 at Sayre.

After their marriage they lived at West Orange, New Jersey before returning to Sayre in 1970. After his death in 1973 she moved to Evansville, Ind. She was a member of the Queen of All Staints(sic) Catholic Church of Sayre.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Betty Cole of Evansville, Ind., Mrs. Joan Picker of Bernardsville, New Jersey; 2 sons, Lt. Col. Neal Leeper of Evansville, Ind., Patrick Allen Leeper of San Carlos, Calif.; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Redempta Carrier of McMinnville, Ore.

Note: The family already had a home in Sayre proper before 1910 but still had the farm near Grimes which they probably sold as soon as they got their Land Patent issued to them in June 1913.
