Her parents were born in Germany, she was a widow, had had 7 kids, 1 living. Collingwoods were step-sons of William Long, and Charles was blind, per census.

Mrs. Eva Stigner, aged 44 years, died at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of William Murphy on Seneca street.
Services will be held at the house Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock.

The funeral services of Eva Steigner were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Murphy, 4 Seneca Street, at 10:30 Wednesday morning and were conducted by Rev. H. W. Mitchell. Two women of the Free Methodist Church sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and Face to Face With Jesus." Faithful friends were in attendance and there was a large offering of flowers. She was laid away in the Franklin Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy ask The News to tank the many friends who were so kind to them through her illness.
