Mrs. Evelyn Ruth Dunn Duvall, age 80, passed away December 22, 2014 peacefully at her home. Mrs. Duvall was preceded in death by her parents Wayne Dunn and Ruth Grace Atkins Dunn. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Windol Duvall; her daughter, Lynette Duvall, her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Angelo Ditty III, and her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Debbie Duvall,; granddaughter and her husband, Dana and Matt Jackson, grandson and his wife, Angelo and Diamond Ditty IV, and granddaughter Hannah DuVall; two great grandchildren, Lucas and Simon Simpson. Evelyn was born in Cusseta, Georgia in 1934. She married her 6th grade sweetheart and they celebrated 62 years together. Her jobs were many as she assisted her husband in his building and construction business as well as being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 5pm-8pm at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 10am at First Baptist Church of Woodstock Chapel, 11905 Highway 92, Woodstock, Georgia 30188 with Dr. Johnny Hunt and Rev. Tim Verhine officiating. Mrs. Duvall will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.
