Bill was born to the late Walter Kerwin and Mary Agnes (Cain) Fowler .
He served in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany as a welder and received an honorable discharge. He continued to work as a welder, mechanic and novelist inventor.
Later in life he enjoyed making wood crafts, working on cars and watching NASCAR.
He will be forever remembered by his wife of 63 years, daughters; granddaughter and husband; great-grandchildren; brother and wife and sister.
Preceded in passing by brother Richard Fowler; sister Kathleen Hardesty; daughter Bonnie Lee Malloy; grand-daughter Sarah Ann Malloy.
A Celebration of Life Service, led by Sam Yockey was held at the Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Hurlock on December 17 with military honors.
