McINTURFF, PATSY "PAT" TUCKER - 82, of Seymour, Tennessee, passed went to be with the Lord on Christmas Day. She died peacefully in her home. She was a born and raised in Carter County and the daughter of the late Conley and Lura Ward Tucker. Pat was married to Chester "Gene" McInturff in 1956. They lived in Athens and Bristol before settling in Seymour, Tennessee, in 1979. She was an active member at Trinity United Methodist Church, Addilynn United Methodist Church, Colonial Heights United Methodist Church, and Seymour United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Wilmer Tucker, Oran Tucker, and Charles Tucker; five sisters, Ethel Tucker Young, Marie Tucker Garland, Gladys Tucker Persinger, Alice Tucker, and Mildred Tucker Lloyd. Survivors include husband of 58 years, Chester Eugene McInturff of Seymour, TN; four children, Lisa Dawn McInturff Chamness and husband Kenneth Chamness of Johnson City, TN, Alan Eugene McInturff and wife Sheri Thornton McInturff of Southside, AL, Anthony Tucker McInturff and wife Jocelyn Frosch McInturff of Knoxville, TN, and Aimee Leigh McInturff Biddle and husband David Biddle of Seymour, TN; eight grandchildren, Lindsey Chamness Maguigan and husband Chris Maguigan of Morristown, TN, Reese Chamness and partner Jessica Augier of New York, NY, Cari McInturff of Knoxville, TN, Emily McInturff of Knoxville, TN, Patrick McInturff of Southside, AL, Dawson Biddle of Seymour, TN, Aleah McInturff of Southside, AL, and Abbie Biddle of Seymour, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Aleah's middle name is Hope, and Abbie's middle name is Faith. The girls loved saying that their Nana was the love among them: Faith, Hope, and Love. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28th, at Atchley Funeral Home, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m., Rev. Jason Gaddis officiating. The committal service will be on Monday, December 29th, at 11:00 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3176 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN 37701. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund of the Seymour United Methodist Church, 107 Simmons Road, Seymour, TN 37865.
