Evelyn Marie Jordan, 91, of Woodway, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014, at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Services will be at 2:30 p.m,. Friday, January 2, 2015, at Waco Memorial Park Chapel with the Rev. David Story and Alec Ylitalo officiating. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park.
Evelyn was born in Chilton, Texas, to the late Loron and Susan Whitt. She was a long time member of Richfield Christian Church in Waco.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edward Jordan, Sr.; and brothers: Ned, Thomas and Albert Whitt, and Cecil (Butch) Buhl.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Jordan Ireland, of Benton, AR; son, Ed Jordan and wife, Amy, of Hewitt; grandchildren, Tiffany Carlson and husband, Chris, Ethan Jordan and wife, Missy, Heather Hinz and husband, Bill, Leigh Ann Bledsoe and husband, Jeremy, and Brent Sigler and wife, Cara; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Butler, of Waco; and several nieces and nephews.
