Peter Kohler, 84, a resident of Samaritan Home in West Bend, where he resided for the past three years, died there Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1978.
Born June 28, 1893, at St. Kilian, he married the former Estella Mathieu on Sept. 29, 1920, and she died Sept. 25, 1922. On Nov. 23, 1929, he married Roseline Pflum at Holy Trinity Catholica Church, Kewaskum. Mr. Kohler spent most of his life in Kewaskum.
Surviving are his wife three children, Mrs. Allen (Shirley) Dreher ad Mrs. Frank (Paula) Kutz both of Kewaskum and Pau of West Bend; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Arthur of Milwaukee and Oscar of Long Lake; and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip (Theresa) Volm of St. Kilian and Mrs. Alvin Volm of Kewaskum.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Miller's Funeral Home 215 Forest Ave., Kewaskum, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Kewaskum. The Rev. John T. Budde will officiate, and burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, West Bend.
