MRS. DORA THORNE
Mrs. Dora Elizabeth Thorne, 62, of 209 S. 16th Ave., Phenix City, died Friday at her residence.
She was born Dec. 4, 1908 in Pike County, Ala., a daughter of the late Henry and Annie Renfroe Jordan. She was a member of the Rolph Survey Assembly of God Church in Phenix City.
Survivors include her husband, Porter M. Thorne, Phenix City; a daughter, Mrs. Jimmie Godwin, Phenix City; two sons, Myron Thorne, Coco, Fla., and Jackie Ray Thorne, Phenix City; four sisters, Mrs. Mamie Adams and Mrs. Donie Reeves, both of Brundidge, Ala., Mrs. Rashie Garrett, Opelika, Ala., and Mrs. Jessie Lee Rodgers, Columbus; three brothers, Bradie Jordan, Phenix City and Hall Jordan, Banks, Ala.; and 11 grandchildren. per: Lois Goodin Hottinger
