Raymond E. “Butch” Abell, age 86, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at his daughter’s home surrounded by his family under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

Butch was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church. He was the co-owner of Butch and Billy’s Diesel Service. Butch was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Butch was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years Earline Willingham Abell, second wife of 10 years Fran Young Abell, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and his parents Dock and Lucy Allin Abell.
