Mrs. Bertha C. Breniman, 83, for many years a resident of Shippenville, R. D. 1, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Warren State hospital, Warren.
A daughter of the late William and Mary Wilkinson, Mrs. Breniman was born Jan. 17, 1867, in Farmington township, Clarion county.
Mrs. Breniman graduated from Clarion State Teachers college in the class of 1892 and taught in schools of Clarion, Forest and Allegheny counties.
She was married to the late Joel Breniman of Paint township, Clarion county in 1893.
Mrs. Breniman is survived by three sons, Milton C. Breniman, Emory J. Breniman and George M. Breniman. In addition, four grandsons, one granddaughter, three great grandsons and one great granddaughter survive.
The body has been removed to MacMillan funeral home, Shippenville.
