Billy E. Harmon, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Midland, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, son and Pepa. Billy was born November 6, 1928 in Hankamer, Texas to Alva J. & Mildred Harmon.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his parents; sister Alma Lois Turner; and brother A.J. Harmon. He is survived by his two daughters Katie Harmon of Katy, Texas and Vickie Gotcher and husband Robert; three grandchildren; Joshua Gotcher and his wife Stephanie; Jennifer Stone and her husband Stefen and daughter Layla; and Jordan Gotcher and her son Vincent all of Midland, Texas.

Billy was a man of many talents; artist, florist, woodworker just to name a few. Many close friends and family members will always have a little part of him through his paintings and arts and crafts.

He will be greatly missed by those lives he touched. Condolences can be sent online to www.sterlingfuneralhome.com.

A visitation with the family will be on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main St., in Anahuac.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00am in the Sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church of Anahuac, 204 Trinity St., with Pastor Kelly S. Krone officiating.

Interment will follow in Abshier Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, all are encouraged to make donations or memorial gifts directed to either Hospice of Midland or Abshier Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at Manor Park in Midland at a later date.
