Lu­cille C. Green­wood (Vick), 98, went to her heav­enly home on De­cem­ber 21, 2014.

She was born May 22, 1916, to Adella and Ran­dolph Vick in Wi­nona, MN. Lu­cille mar­ried Ken­neth Green­wood in Wi­nona, MN, on Au­gust 30, 1939. She grad­u­ated from Wi­nona High School.

Over the years she has worked at Bay State Milling and was a cook at La Cres­cent Grade School in La Cres­cent, MN. Lu­cille and her fam­ily moved to Eau Claire, WI, in 1960. While in Eau Claire she worked at Wool­worths and sold Avon. She was a mem­ber of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Lu­cille loved play­ing horse­shoes, golf­ing, bowl­ing, danc­ing, go­ing to the casino, and play­ing cards.

She will be dearly missed by a son, Ron­ald (Beret) Green­wood of Janesville, WI; and a daugh­ter, Mary Ann (Greg) Cowan of Eau Claire, WI; a brother-in-law, Ray­mond Green­wood (Lor­raine) of Wi­nona, MN; 7 grand­chil­dren, Marty (Tonja) Hafner of Brook­lyn Park, MN, Jeff Hafner of Hud­son, WI, Ja­son Hafner of Som­mer­set, WI, Staci (David) Kauf­man, of Menomonie, WI, Randi (Andy) Stan­ley of Eau Claire, WI, Kenny (Becky) Green­wood of Janesville, WI and An­drea (CJ) Hayes of Evansville, WI; 16 great-grand­chil­dren; and nu­mer­ous other rel­a­tives and friends.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; her sis­ter, Eve­lyn Kas­ten; her daugh­ter, Joyce Hafner, a son-in-law, Marty Hafner; and a great-grand­son, Brex­tin Stan­ley.

The fam­ily would like to thank Grace Wil­low­brook and Grace Edge­wood for the won­der­ful care given at their res­i­dence. Mom, we will miss you so much! Thank you for the won­der­ful mem­o­ries. In lieu of flow­ers, memo­ri­als will be col­lected for the Brex­tin Stan­ley Me­mo­rial Schol­ar­ship.

Funeral Ser­vices will take place at 1 p.m. on Fri­day, De­cem­ber 26, 2014, at Fuller Speck­ien Hulke Funeral Home with Pas­tor Steve Rut­ter of St. Matthew Lutheran Church of­fi­ci­at­ing. Visi­ta­tion will take place at the fu­neral home on Fri­day an hour prior to the ser­vice. Burial will im­me­di­ately fol­low the fu­neral in Rest Haven Ceme­tery in the Town of Wash­ing­ton.
