CLINTON, Iowa — Arnold E. Badtke, 79, of Clinton, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, at Samaritan Hospital South, Clinton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clinton.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Badtke farmed several years in rural Clinton County and retired in 1980 after 13 years at Champion.
He was born July 17, 1917, in McCausland. He married Velma Mae Carter in 1940 in Clinton. She died Feb. 1.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include sons, Lawrence "Larry," Clinton, and Melvin, Mount Carroll, Ill.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Viola Olson, Clinton.
