ROTH, Elda Elizabeth Peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2014, at Nithview Community, New Hamburg. Elda was formerly of R.R. #1, Tavistock. She was born 88 years ago in South Easthope Township, Ontario and was the daughter of the late Christian and Annie (Bender) Baechler. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Roth who predeceased her December 31, 1994. Loving mother of Cheryl Roth, Linda McKenna and husband Neil, Brian Roth and wife Jeanette, Darlene Riches and husband Kevin, Richard Roth, Bonnie Zehr and husband Robert, Ross Roth, Mark Roth and wife Carol and Terry Roth. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Tanya (Ron), Michael (Melissa), Dustin (Jen), Matthew (Crystal), Jennifer, Brittany, Jordan, Cody, Gabriel, Jon and great-grandchildren Olivia, Nicole, Keira and Sadie. Remembered by her sister Merva Zehr, sisters-in-law Rita Baechler, Mary Ropp and brother-in-law Laverne Jantzi. Elda was predeceased by her brothers Wilmer Baechler and wife Freida, Floyd Baechler, brothers-in-law Earl Zehr, Vernon Roth and wife Ruby, Alvin Roth and wife Lucille, Eldon Roth, Lorne Roth and wife Esther, Leonard Roth and wife Ruth and sisters-in-law Leona Ropp and husband Stanley and Florence Roth. Elda was a member of East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th Line and was a volunteer at Nithview and the New Hamburg Thrift Shop. Family and friends will be received at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. at East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th Line with Pastor Ray Martin and Pastor Tanya Dyck Steinmann officiating.
